DEWESoft is designed for synchronized acquisition of different signal sources and for data analysis. A DEWETRON instrument with DEWESoft software replaces a recorder, digital meter, data logger, FFT analyzer, transient recorder and many more.

Battery powered

The DEWE-321x is a fully battery powered instrument. Three hot-swappable batteries guarantee continuous operation without an external power source for up to ~2 hours. Since this time depends a lot on the system configuration a DEWESoft plugin shows the battery status directly in the software. Also alarm conditions can be set and the battery parameters can be displayed as additional measurement channels.
Hot-swappable batteries mean that the 320x can run indefinitely without any external power!

Basic configuration guideline

  1. Choose the right model for your application from DEWE-3210 and DEWE-3211
  2. Add one or more ORION-series AD cards to your DEWE-321x instrument and define
    1. Number, resolution and sampling rate of analog inputs
    2. Number and features of digital, counter / encoder inputs
    3. Number of CAN inputs
  3. Choose the appropriate signal conditioning for analog inputs
    Single channel dynamic ISOLATION plug-in modules, DAQP-series (user changeable)
    Multi channel static plug-in modules, PAD-series (user changeable)
    Multi channel dynamic differential modules, MDAQ-series (factory changeable)
  4. Choose DEWESoft software and options
  5. Add external channel expansion (optional)
    Dynamic channels via analog signal cables, DEWE-30-series
    Dynamic channels via PCI link, DEWE-50-PCI-series
    Dynamic channels via DEWE-NET, any other all-in-one instrument
    Static channels via EPAD-series modules
